It is brewed with "Beni Imo" sweet potatoes grown on our own farm and rice malt made from domestic rice. It retains the aroma characteristic of sweetpotato shochu and has a sweet, easy-to-drink taste. It is very soft on the palate and throat, and can be easily enjoyed by all ages. It can be enjoyed on the rocks, with water, or with hot water.

They restored a high quality rice "Shiratama-mai" that was also for Sake making, so they named this Shochu from the image a Samurai had drank it in the period from end of Edo to Meiji. This Shochu taste quality is so strong and sharp as Samurai name from this rice malt flavor.

Usually steamed sweet potatos are used to produce Shochu, but this shochu is made of roast sweet potatos so that it gets much more savory, sweet and Umami and tastes so rich. Since it takes longer time to do it than the others, it can be produced less than the normal shochu.
